Damen Yachting’s first launch of 2026 is on the water

Damen Yachting has ticked off its first milestone for 2026 with the launch of a new Amels 60. Having sold just weeks before it hit the water on January 31, the 60 metre is now undergoing outfitting and sea trials ahead of delivery later this year.

Another large milestone has been ticked off with the launch of this yacht; that of 21 collaborations between Amels and Andrew Winch, seen in the Amels 60’s strong pedigree and craftmanship. For this 2026 launch, Winch has introduced a breezy Pacific Island approach to the interior for a calm, coastal feel while onboard.

The exterior has hallmarks of Espen Øino’s timeless yacht design, with trapezoid windows and clean, contemporary lines. Ample attention has been given to how spaces function onboard. A flybridge opens out into a 29m2 sun deck, while the expansive owner’s suite is flanked by large windows for an open, sleek feel.
